“Pride and self-assertion, self-importance and self-esteem could not survive (in God’s glory.)
The people came to meet God – He was always there. Hence, a continuous meeting.”
I pray that the Lord will raise up, very speedily, people in this north-metro area to meet with Him in worship (around-the-clock every day of the week) and be changed by His glory. – JR

from Chang:
for myself.. i found that the time that i had set aside became a hotbed for things to go wrong from outside sources… like work emergencies, being sick, etc… but working through that for the forst few weeks… i found that it is now a time of reflection and quiet that has allowed for some clarity
in the past week… i was contimplating a move from my current job to another position.. and had been waiting for an answer from God about if it ws the right choice. that week.. Rob Kelly gave the sermon about not having courage.. staying when we should go.. and going when we should stay… and trying to make and do things in our image and methods and not Gods…
well.. the next day… i had a phone interview for a position that i thought was already filled.. and then a second later that day. i was asked to come in for a ‘final’ interview and the next day… i had the offer letter.
the job gives me everything that we had been praying for… benefits are awesome and things that i had been trying to re-negotiate at my current job.
there is no way that this could have happened of my own doing.. as i have friends that are in negotiations and job searches for months… and i was done in basically 3 days.
the tent is big. the tent is filled with the praise and prayers of His people… and i am honored be to part of the process..

from James Carney:
Monday nights have become a staple in our home. Our worship is centered on prayer, songs, and time in His Word. We all look forward to it! The kids, Luke and Lisa, love this time together with family and God.
Last Monday I had more things to pray for in one hour than I had time. Will be signing up for another hour of “Tent time” on my own soon.
Get out of the weather for an hour and get in the Tent!!!!! Spread the Word and Worship on this!

from Jeanie Rhoades:
Well, first of all, I am just so honored to be a part of this in any fashion. Secondly, so blessed. By asking people to commit that hour weekly, you are actually inviting them to find their way into the Presence. It has been a recovery for my heart and soul. It has been raw emotion, quiet times, laughing out loud with no one else around and more. Some days God has drawn me into intercession and actually sensing His heart towards people – so much so that my own heart would feel like it would explode. Other days it has been like a breath, -a giant, energizing breath of life straight from God. I am loving this precious, precious time. Thank-you for inviting me in to The Tent.

I think that Jesus showed us that He will meet us wherever we are at, however we approach Him, so the beautiful thing here is that there is no formula as to how to spend an hour with God.
I ususally begin at my piano keyboard, playing songs I know, praising and interceding. That usually leads to a time of pure worship and thanks for who God is, and then time just seems to stop for a while.
I try to remember to pray for the city and others, but it sometimes is hard to get past just resting at His feet.
I thing the Tent is a fabuluos idea, and I think its impact for the Kingdom cannot be underestimated. Thanks to the Powers that be for setting it up!!!!

I was surfing today and found your ministry. As a pastor in Houston, I was moved to tears and prayer for you. I think what you are doing is beautiful and makes Him dance… When I read about the early church, I am convinced that my prayer and worship is way too short. I love the Tent!!!
Peace…

I just stumbled across this website and am so awed and amazed at how God is moving in our generation!!!! I’ve been praying for revival for years and it is exciting beyond belief to see that He is actually doing it!! It starts with a revival in prayer – and God is doing this!!! I’m working with a group of people called Campus Colorado to see 24/7 prayer on every campus in Colorado for the 08-09 school year. May God accomplish all His will and bring many to Himself in abandoned devotion for the glory of His name!!! Amen, come Lord Jesus!!!
